Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
Work as a Junior Process Engineer in the Pyrometallurgy team. This role consists of working on multiple projects related to furnaces.
Depending on the project scope, as a Process Engineer I have been involved in the following:
-Mass and energy balances calculations
-Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) development
-Process Design Criteria (PDC) development
-HAZOPs
-Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Awareness Manuals
-Preparation of commissioning checklists
-Client interaction and maintaining client relationships
-Working on site with multidisciplinary teams
As a Process Engineer it is very important to consider safety in our designs, which is something I thoroughly enjoy.
Worked on multiple sites for different clients as well as office-based projects, both of which has contributed to my continuous improvement as an Engineer. Most projects include analysis of data which require to be extracted from client database or models which we design.
