Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
Manage team in line with company policy
Contingency plans are developed to ensure drawing office sustainability and succession planning is managed.
Facilitate Drawing Office meetings, attend production and hand over meetings and provide feedback to the drawing office personnel.
Calculations are automated to reduce lead times
Overtime is managed and reported monthly
Resource utilization is managed against budget
Quality and Safety standards are adhered to and integrated into design.
Ensure that procedures, design specifications and ISO standards are adhered to.
Site meetings and visits are attended to as required.
Consultation with Management and Business Units as required.
Delivery on manufacturing drawings on agreed timeframes.
Lead times are kept constant as per market expectation.
Demand is managed reliably through fluctuations.
Administrative systems are set up, maintained and improved for the relevant production divisions.
Suppliers are managed as per contract, participation in events and exhibitions as required.
Tenders are managed and submitted by due date.
Proposal and costing drawings have no errors
Designs are correct to reduce production problems.
Uniform standards are set for design and drawings
