Supervise and improve production throughout plants or factories by supporting engineering teams, drafting safety protocols, reporting issues to management, and creating strategies that will enhance efficiency and profits.
Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.
Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.
Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.
Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities of ideal position:
Monitoring and Supervising Operations
• Attending Day to Day meeting to provide with production daily reports.
• Ensure that operators produce quality products.
• Assist with shop floor layout and designs.
• Ensure all products and systems requirements are taken into accounts from the initial production conception to the finished results.
• Ensure product and process quality meets specifications required.
• Design fixtures and tooling for assembly tasks
• Line balancing
• Perform Quick kaizens.
• Report down time and possible trends
• Respond to break downs.
• Write reports and present progress to managers and Staff.
• Attend various meetings and communicate instructions.
• Manage the Key Performance indicators.
• Plan projects and so they may be tracked and presented.
• Remove waste from the process.
• Investigate production and process issues providing support and training.
• Keeping up to 5’s
• Quality control of work by appropriate reviews
• Coordinate projects to make work easy for operators reducing movement to keep up to cycle time.
